React template or Next.js starter?
Each detail page provides source-registry installation and a project ZIP. React integration does not mean every ZIP uses React: Mermaid Live Editor ships a Svelte source project with a React integration entry. Read the individual requirements before choosing a template.
React is the UI runtime, not a promise of a complete Next.js application. Inspect the delivered package and its documented framework. A template may supply an editable React frontend while requiring your own routing, authentication, database and backend. Do not assume that a successful Vite build verifies server rendering in Next.js.
What should I test before shipping?
Install into a clean branch, open the actual page and exercise its main flow on desktop and mobile. Check keyboard access, reduced motion, console errors and the production build. For a ZIP, use its own README and package scripts. For a registry install, follow the project setup and alias guide.
The CODING and DESIGN Apps use local demo responses until you supply a backend. WORKFLOW executes local JSON steps and branches; it is not a durable background-job service. The workflow editor guide explains that boundary.
Can I use a template commercially?
Read the license and asset notices delivered with that specific template. Source availability does not make every image, font or third-party asset unrestricted. Preserve attribution and notices where required.
